ROMGAZ joins OGMP 2.0

ROMGAZ, the largest natural gas producer in Romania and one of the largest producers in Eastern Europe, has joined the Oil and Gas Methane Partnership 2.0 (OGMP 2.0), UNEP’s flagship reporting and mitigation programme.

“We are glad to welcome ROMGAZ as part of our initiative, which allows member companies to target strategic mitigation of methane emissions,” said Giulia Ferrini, OGMP 2.0 Programme Manager. “We look forward to ROMGAZ’ contribution as OGMP 2.0 is more than a rigorous reporting framework: it is a unique platform for collective action and peer learning among our members, who jointly develop new industry norms on methane management.”
