ROMGAZ is the largest natural gas producer and the main supplier in Romania. The company is listed on Bucharest Stock Exchange. Geological exploration, natural gas production, natural gas storage and electric power production represent only a part of ROMGAZ activity.

In 2026, ROMGAZ continued its development and vertical integration strategy by taking over AZOMUREȘ’s production operations, one of Romania’s leading producers of fertilizers for the agricultural sector.

ROMGAZ respects the tradition and promotes the gas industry, encouraging the development of a positive awareness at its level, by establishing the Natural Gas Museum.
