ROMGAZ is confident that the premise of economic performance is strengthening bilateral relations with all stakeholders, and as regards the sustainable development, the company has included social and ecological considerations in its activities, proving awareness of the interdependent relationship between the business environment, the environment, and society.

Human resources strategy is integrated into the company’s strategy and aims to meet the requirements for achieving our business objectives through development of human resources, having to do with organizational, recruitment and selection, performance and development aspects.

In accordance with the company's internal rules and regulations, the management respects the right of employees to form and join trade unions, maintaining an ongoing dialogue based on respect and transparency in order to identify mutually beneficial solutions.

We ensure occupational health and safety - we implemented an occupational health and safety management system based on SR ISO 45001: 2018 Occupational health and safety management systems, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements applicable to the field: Law 319/2006; GD 1425/2006; GD 355/2007.

The Occupational Health Office regularly examines the health of each employee by means of a general clinical examination. The results of these medical examinations are recorded in the Medical File (initiated and managed by the doctor), the information being strictly confidential between the employee and the doctor.

In the Collective Labour Agreement concluded at the Company, the chapter "Working Conditions - Occupational Safety and Health" covers general aspects of occupational safety and health, such as: employer's obligations, employee's obligations, working conditions, work rules, staff training, personal protective equipment, employee health surveillance, protective nutrition, occupational safety and health committees.

We promote a healthy lifestyle - the Occupational Health Office promotes a healthy lifestyle in every meeting with employees by discussing best practices, tips and recommendations.
