He held the position of Head of Drilling Technologies Office from 2012 until June 2021 when he was delegated with powers for Director of Drilling Department.

He has been part of Romgaz team since 2002 when he started as an engineer: within the Geological Resources Assessment Office between 2002 - 2007 and the Investments Office between 2007-2012.

He has a vast experience in teaching being an Associate Professor at “Lucian Blaga” University, Sibiu since 2005.

Graduate of Oil and Gas University, Ploiesti, he holds a diploma in advanced studies and a Doctorate Degree in the field of Mines, Oil and Gas.
