ROMGAZ keeping up fight against COVID 19 by investing in health of local community

*** More than EUR 800,000 to support the County Clinical Emergency Hospital of Sibiu in equipping AIT units to treat COVID 19 patients

*** ROMGAZ supports the Romanian Red Cross in purchasing and distributing 1,000,000 surgical masks as protection against COVID-19

ROMGAZ CEO Mr. Adrian Volintiru stated: “In pursuing the fight against the new coronavirus, ROMGAZ has made constant investments in the health of the local community. We decided to allot such amount to support the medical staff and to help the COVID-19 affected patients. We stand by the local authorities, the central administration and all factors involved at national level, because together, and only together, by concerted efforts, we can overcome this crisis. I take this opportunity to give special thanks to the President of the Sibiu County Council and the Manager of the County Clinical Emergency Hospital of Sibiu for the good cooperation and their involvement in supporting the local community. Their example should be followed! We have to change the paradigm and ensure that constant, sustained investment is going to be in place over a long term. It is time to invest more in health so as to provide an improved climate for the future generation to thrive. In the forthcoming period we are also going to support other medical units in need of support in this fight against an invisible but powerful enemy.”
