ROMGAZ TECHNOFORUM 2025 – The third edition dedicated to innovation and artificial intelligence in the exploration and production of hydrocarbon reservoirs
Mediaș, October 10, 2025 – ROMGAZ, Romania's largest producer and main supplier of natural gas, organized the third edition of ROMGAZ TECHNOFORUM between October 7 and 9, 2025, an event dedicated to digitization and the use of artificial intelligence in hydrocarbon exploration and production processes.
ROMGAZ Documentation and Information Center in Mediaș hosted the event and brought together professionals from the industry, technology partners, representatives of academia and related companies in an environment favourable to the exchange of ideas and expertise.
Over the course of three days, participants discussed and analysed the applicability of digital solutions and artificial intelligence in three key areas of exploration and production:
- Panel 1: Digital solutions and AI applications in geological exploration
- Panel 2: Digital technologies and AI in the drilling process
- Panel 3: Digitization and AI in field production
Each panel included technical presentations, case studies, and thematic sessions focused on practical examples of using new technologies for increased operational efficiency, improving decision-making, and reducing environmental impact. Solutions for predictive analytics, advanced geological modelling, process automation, and production optimization were presented.
