ROMGAZ supports the participation of BC CSU Sibiu in national competitions

In 2023, ROMGAZ financially supported the project "Participation of BC CSU Sibiu in national competitions", initiated by Sibiu Basketball Club Association. The project aimed at improving sport results and the quality of training conditions and of performance sporting competitions.

BC CSU Sibiu is the most representative sports brand of Sibiu County through its performance sports activities. The basketball team is double winner of the Romanian National Champion title and winner of the Romanian Cup trophy. The basketball team has also represented Sibiu County and Romania in European basketball competitions in recent years. At the beginning of 2021, BC CSU Sibiu qualified among the top 16 teams in Europe in the FIBA Europe Cup interclub competition.
