ROMGAZ provides financial support for the project “Cupa EDU_Competiţie de baschet între licee"

ROMGAZ provides financial support for the project “Cupa EDU_Competiţie de baschet între licee" (Edu Cup – high school basketball competition, Praxis Edu Association, Bucharest. Twenty-four high schools from Bucharest and Voluntari, both public and private, will take part in the CUPA EDU (basketball, high school, 5x5 boys), bringing together a group of 24,500 students. 

Games will be held between November and December 2025 in 8 of the 24 high schools enrolled in the competition, and the pre- and post-competition period for promotion and organization of other activities will cover the entire period from September 2025 to August 2026.  

Sport is essential for a healthy lifestyle, especially for young people building lifelong habits during this period, and particularly after a long pandemic when socializing was restricted affecting team sports. 
Engaging in sports offers numerous benefits that enhance overall quality of life, including better physical and mental health, stronger academic performance, teamwork experience, improved communication skills, greater self-confidence, lower stress levels, reduced youth violence, and a positive outlet for energy, among many others.
