ROMGAZ provided financial support for the project: "Un secol de dăruire pe plan social și socio-cultural" (A century of social and socio-cultural dedication), Romanian Academy - Menachem H. Elias Family Foundation, Bucharest. Distinctions were awarded to individuals for their exceptional contributions to medical progress and socio-cultural advancement.

The Menachem H. Elias Family Foundation is a testamentary foundation for national culture and public assistance, under the auspices of the country's highest cultural authority, the Romanian Academy. A private, non-partisan, and non-profit legal entity, the M. H. Elias Family Foundation has carried out numerous social, cultural, and humanitarian programs over the course of its 100 years of existence (founded in 1925) and is unanimously recognized as a traditional representative of the non-governmental sector and Romanian civil society.
